Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire and empower students through high-quality arts education that builds creativity, confidence, and character.

United through music, visual art, dance, and theater, we help students discover their unique voice, express themselves with purpose, and develop lifelong skills that extend far beyond the classroom—discipline, collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and resilience.

We believe the arts are not only a pathway to artistic growth, but a foundation for lifelong learning, leadership, and meaningful connection within a united community.

Disciplines We Offer

Exploring creativity through diverse mediums.

Music

Our Music Program introduces students to a wide range of instruments and musical styles while building strong fundamentals in performance and listening skills. Through hands-on instruction and guided practice, students develop musical literacy and discipline.

Arts

Our Arts Program encourages creative thinking and problem-solving through drawing, painting, and mixed media. Students explore techniques, experiment with materials, and learn to communicate ideas visually while developing artistic awareness.

Dance

Our Dance Program supports physical development, coordination, and cultural awareness through movement. Students explore diverse dance styles and rhythms while learning technique, musicality, and the value of self-expression through performance.

Theater

Our Theater Program strengthens communication, collaboration, and creative storytelling through acting and stage work. Students engage in role-playing, improvisation, and performance activities that build presentation skills and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Upcoming

3D Printing

Our 3D Printing Program introduces students to design, technology, and problem-solving through hands-on creation. Using digital modeling tools and 3D printers, students learn foundational design concepts while transforming ideas into physical prototypes.

How We Work

Our Framework

Tailored & Reliable Programs

UCMA designs Special Class programs that schools can rely on—built around what your students and community need most. In partnership with each campus, we align class offerings (Music, Arts, Dance, and Theater) to the school’s goals and schedule, then deliver a consistent, high-quality experience from the first session through the semester-end recital or showcase.

Structured Environment & Operations

Our programs are structured to create a safe and supportive environment where students feel they belong. Every class follows a clear routine—warm welcome, skill-building instruction, guided practice, and reflection. Behind the scenes, our operations team ensures instruments and materials arrive on time, with dedicated management focused on smooth coordination with your district.

SEL & Family Connection

UCMA integrates social-emotional learning naturally through the arts. As students rehearse and collaborate, they develop self-confidence, perseverance, teamwork, and communication. Families become part of the journey too—especially during showcases, where students get to celebrate their progress with the people who support them most.

The Outcome

The result is a program that’s not only enriching and creative, but also structured, dependable, and meaningful—helping students build skills, stay engaged, and shine on stage and in life.

Our Teaching Philosophy

Our teaching philosophy blends standards-based instruction with student-centered learning. We ensure students don’t just learn but truly thrive by focusing on these four core pillars:

Technical Skills
Creativity
Performance
Social-Emotional

To date, we’ve worked with over 2,000 students across the Central Valley, building strong collaborations with schools, districts, and community organizations.
