Art Exploration | for ages 5-8 years old

Art Exploration is a group class for younger artists. Students will explore various mediums used in arts and crafts. This class is great for the development of fine motor skills, basic art concepts, and introducing the elements of art!

Mixed Mediums | for ages 9-12 years old

Mixed Mediums art class is a group class designed for students who would like to learn multiple ways to create art! Students will work with a variety of mediums including watercolors, clay, acrylic paint, pencil, etc. In this class, the students will learn the fundamentals of art while working alongside their peers to immerse themselves in new art forms.

Studio Arts | for ages 13-17 years old

Starting March 2, 2023

Studio Arts Class is a group class for students who would like to gain experience in a studio setting. The students will create with multiple mediums such as graphite, charcoal, oil paint, watercolors, clay, etc. The class will go over the fundamentals of art as well as different techniques, along with a group of peers who can learn from each other and build a sense of camaraderie together. 

  • Thursdays at 5pm

Lesson Plan

The class will be an introductory training for any skill level in the seven elements of art which include experience in the line, color, shape, value, space, form, and texture.

  • Projects will be focused on drawing; charcoal, oil pastels, pencil, and pen.

  • The class will focus on line, shape, form, value, texture, space, and color.

  • Students will learn to be explorative in their creative processes with material, concepts, and technique; students will exhibit knowledge and introduction to artistic vocabulary.

  • Projects include lessons on sketching, drawing, painting, oil pastels, charcoal, zentangle, abstract portraiture, gesturing exercises, color, site-measuring, and cross-contouring.

  • Our classes offer a fun and engaging artistic experience for kids and teens through learning basic art techniques such as drawing, painting, and many more. Our art classes engage children through learning fun, creative art projects which all make this class a wonderful artistic experience. Our students will develop the techniques and eye for the different topics covered, and learn the basic skills of drawing!

  • Group art classes are designed mainly for beginners, however, all skill levels are welcome to participate.
